Welcome to Flexyourgym

Most of us know the feeling—your job takes everything out of you. You come home tired, with little energy for the things you care about. That’s how I felt after 25 years in construction. The work was good, but the balance wasn’t. I worked six days a week and had just one day to rest, recover, and see my family.

When I turned 40, I made a choice. I decided to follow my passion for fitness. That’s how Flexyourgym came to life.

 

My Story

Hi, I’m John O’Hara, and I started Flexyourgym to turn my love for training into something real.

The gym has always been more than a workout for me. It’s a space to clear my head, stay focused, and feel grounded. That’s why creating a fitness brand made sense. I wanted to help others build that same kind of space in their own homes.

I took what I knew—hard work and consistent training—and used it to build Flexyourgym from the ground up.

Flexyourgym is a direct-to-customer store, which means we’re fully online.

This model keeps things simple. You avoid long commutesand busy showrooms. Instead, you browse, choose, and order—all from the comfort of your home.It also means better value. With fewer middlemen, you get more for your money.

Starting a new business isn’t easy. One of the biggest challenges is building trust. That’s why I handle most of the customer service myself.

When you message us, I often reply directly. I aim to answer quickly, fix problems fast, and keep things clear. As a result, many of our first-time customers come back again.

We also focus on honest service. We don’t overpromise—we deliver.

We don’t sell everything. Instead, we pick what works.

Every product on our site goes through a simple test: Would I use this myself? If the answer is yes, then it earns a spot on our site. We also check reviews, test build quality, and partner with suppliers we trust.

For example, many of our machines include lifetime warranties and steel frames. That’s because we believe good gear should last.
